Tanners, an established restaurant located in Huntington Beach, California, consists of a ground floor and an open rooftop area. For this project, I was tasked with redesigning the space for renowned celebrity chef Guy Fieri. To ensure the design aligned with his personality and brand, extensive research was conducted to understand his preferences and style. It became clear that Guy Fieri has a strong affinity for rock 'n' roll, and his signature colors-red, orange, and yellow- are central to his brand identity.
As part of the design process, we were required to incorporate an "Element of Surprise". To fulfill this requirement, I conceptualized a striking 15-foot rotating guitar, positioned above a circular firepit. This dynamic and bold feature not only reflects Guy Fieri's passion for music but also serves as a focal point, creating an engaging and memorable experience for diners.
